Membership Engagement AND OutReach Committee (MEOC) |
Committee Mission StatementThe membership engagement and outreach committee serves to recruit and retain a diverse professional community. We strive for WMHCA to be a sustainable anti-racist organization via inclusive representation of all clinical mental health counselors and allied professionals. Our ultimate goal is community building through invitation and intentional outreach. We act as a conduit to amplify member voices and provide accessibility to the profession and organization. |
| Committee PurposeThe membership committee is currently recruiting new members. The focus of the committee is to continue to grow membership, and to make sure all members have access to benefits. The committee wants to make sure members feel supported, heard, and have the resources they need. The committee also is responsible for deciding what organizations WMHCA sponsors, and for exploring ongoing partnerships with other organizations. |
Sponsorship Opportunities
WMHCA is excited to support connection and collaboration within our counseling community by offering sponsorship funding for local (WA state) counselor networking events. If you or your organization is planning an event and would like WMHCA to provide financial sponsorship, we invite you to apply for consideration. Sponsorships are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. To be eligible, please submit a completed Sponsorship Application at least 60 days prior to your event. Funding decisions are made by the Membership Engagement and Outreach Committee, which meets monthly, typically at noon on the first Tuesday. We’re proud to invest in opportunities that bring counselors together, strengthen professional relationships, and support our statewide community. We encourage you to reach out and apply! |
