Committee Mission StatementThe membership engagement and outreach committee serves to recruit and retain a diverse professional community. We strive for WMHCA to be a sustainable anti-racist organization via inclusive representation of all clinical mental health counselors and allied professionals. Our ultimate goal is community building through invitation and intentional outreach. We act as a conduit to amplify member voices and provide accessibility to the profession and organization. |
| Committee PurposeThe membership committee is currently recruiting new members. The focus of the committee is to continue to grow membership, and to make sure all members have access to benefits. The committee wants to make sure members feel supported, heard, and have the resources they need. The committee also is responsible for deciding what organizations WMHCA sponsors, and for exploring ongoing partnerships with other organizations. |
Sponsorship OpportunitiesWMHCA offers sponsorship funds to organizations on a case by case basis. If you have an event you’d like WMHCA to financially sponsor, please fill out the Sponsorship Application 90 days before your event. Sponsorship decisions are made during our Membership Engagement and Outreach Committee meetings which typically occur at noon on the first Tuesday of every month. |
