Membership Engagement & OutReach Committee


Committee Mission Statement


The membership engagement and outreach committee serves to recruit and retain a diverse professional community. We strive for WMHCA to be a sustainable anti-racist organization via inclusive representation of all clinical mental health counselors and allied professionals. Our ultimate goal is community building through invitation and intentional outreach. We act as a conduit to amplify member voices and provide accessibility to the profession and organization.

Committee Purpose

The membership engagement and outreach committee shall have responsibility for membership recruitment and retention. They engage in member outreach and ensure all members can access benefits and resources.

WMHCA offers sponsorship funds to organizations on a case by case basis.  If you have an event you’d like WMHCA to financially sponsor, please fill out the form Sponsorship Application 90 days before your event.  Sponsorship decisions are made during our Membership Engagement and Outreach Committee meetings which typically occur at noon on the first Tuesday of every month.  

Meeting Information

  • The MEOC typically meets the 1st Tuesday of every month at 12:00 PM.  There are some months that dates are shifted for holidays and other events.
