Become a Washington State Approved Supervisor

This two-day Approved Clinical Supervisor training is intended for eligible licensed mental health professionals who aspire to become Washington State Approved Supervisors and shape the clinical and cultural competence of counselor and therapist associates working toward full licensure. In this highly interactive virtual training, participants learn legal and professional ethics, supervision processes, and evaluative methods to assess supervisees’ outcomes from supervision in a culturally responsive context.

After this two-day training, participants will have:

 Completed the 15-hours of required supervision education to become a Washington State Approved Clinical Supervisor.

 Acquired 9 of the 25 hours of required experience in supervision of clinical practice.

This training is facilitated by Doctoral-level Counselor Educators who are Clinicians and Washington State Approved Clinical Supervisors. Instructional methods for the two-day training include lecture, role play, case study, small and large group discussion, written assignments, and supervision practice.

Envision Counseling, PLLC, has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education provider, ACEP No. 6724. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Envision Counseling, PLLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
