Provide your personal statment including theraputic style, specialty areas, and populations served.
I am a psychodynamic therapist committed to helping clients authentically love themselves, connect genuinely with others, and pursue their desires. My work centers on the belief that we each carry patterns (shaped by culture, history, and relationships) that once protected us but may no longer serve us. Together, we slow down enough to notice those patterns, understand where they came from, and open space for something new.

I specialize in religious and spiritual trauma, walking alongside clients who are questioning, grieving, or rebuilding their relationship to faith. I also support women navigating life transitions (from new motherhood to career shifts to identity changes) and work with parents seeking a more grounded, reflective approach to raising their children. With younger clients, I use child-centered play therapy to meet kids where they are developmentally, allowing play to be the language through which we understand and work with what's going on beneath the surface.

I also co-teach Child Parent Relationship Therapy classes and facilitate a Religious Trauma Therapy Group.

My style is warm, curious, and unhurried. I don't believe therapy is about achieving perfection or performing having-it-together; it's about getting honest, with tenderness, about both the easy and the difficult parts of ourselves. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and I offer both in-person sessions in Issaquah and telehealth across Washington State.
