Learning Objectives: 

  • Increase skills for self-compassion by exploring the fundamental nature of work (not knowing and curious exploration),

  • Develop their own sense of calmness and balance,

  • Building and maintaining healthy boundaries.

About the Presenter:

Jackie Uhlemann is an Arizona and Washington Licensed Counselor. She received her Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in San Jose, California, with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. She started utilizing poetry and art to relate to high school students in a therapeutic classroom as an intern with Bay Area Family Therapy Training Associates and continues to believe in the creative process as a tool for building hope. She has worked with individuals and families in a variety of settings, including schools, offices, homes, jails and online. She has provided counseling and supervision for over 20 years.

This course is approved for 3 CE hours for LMHCs, LMFTs, LCSWs, and all associate-level licensees in Washington State.

Washington Mental Health Association (WMHCA) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 2079. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. WMHCA is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

3 NBCC clock hours will be awarded at the conclusion of the course.

WMHCA Event Cancellation Policy: To receive a refund, less a $15 cancellation fee, cancellations must be made by contacting Sara@wmhca.org at least 48 hours prior to workshop date. There will be no refunds within 48 hours of the workshop date.
