Then worked my way up through many positions in the mental health field starting with: Family Support Services Advocate/Program Coordinator for a Temporary Homeless Housing Program, Case Manager/Registered Counselor for a Community Mental Health Organization, then earned my MA in Education and Counseling and became a Master's level Case Manager promoted to a Therapist , then Intake Specialist, DMHP, Behavioral Health Consultant in an Integrated Community Health Center while practicing as a DCR in the same County for a Community Mental Health Center. Most recently worked in an in-patient recovery program as the Mental Health Specialist. Currently I am in Private Practice which I actually started in 2004 and have been doing on the side since.
