Addictions Adolescents Anxiety Children Consulting and Coaching Couples Therapy and Divorce Depression and Bipolar Domestic Violence Experiential Expressive Art Music and Play Therapies Grief and Loss Life Transitions PTSD Race and Ethnicity Issues Women's Issues My private practice, Tapestry Therapy, is founded upon the belief that your life is like a tapestry, consisting of strands of stories that have been woven together to make one larger story. Our story is part of a greater tapestry which is the story of our race, culture, country and the world. Through the work of therapy, we come to understand our stories and decide how we will write future chapters. Living in Turkey for many years deeply impacted and formed who I am, which is a bilingual and bicultural therapist. I approach life and my work through an anti-oppression lens as I provide trauma informed care. As I work with clients of diverse cultures I am mindful of the historical, racial and inter-generational trauma that they have likely experienced.

Maddy Miller LMHC
Addictions Anxiety Behavioral Health Depression and Bipolar Depth Psychology Geriatrics and Lifespan Grief and Loss Groups LGBTQ Issues Life Transitions Psychotherapy PTSD Women's Issues My counseling orientation comes primarily from a relational psychodynamic model, drawing from Attachment Theory, British Object Relations, Internal Family Systems, and an emerging field known as interpersonal neurobiology—the study of how our brains develop in relationships with others. I have additional training in trauma and addiction. I offer attuned presence in a non-judgmental environment, inviting ongoing exploration. I join people as they explore historical narratives and offer genuine involvement in uncovering patterns that cause distress. I help clients gain awareness of themselves and their development as it relates to present day challenges. I help people learn to listen to themselves, mind, body, spirit, and to respond with compassion.

Lara Okoloko
Addictions Family Therapy Psychotherapy Solution Focused Brief Therapy I work with families impacted by someone's substance use problems,. I use a collaborative, respectful harm-reduction approach that seeks to empower instead of shame, and to encourage healthy relationship-building instead of detachment. I am certified in the Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) counseling approach, a positive relationship-based alternative to surprise interventions. I also provide a confidential, respectful space to help you explore your relationship with alcohol, marijuana or other drugs. Because I am not affiliated with any treatment provider, I am able to offer unbiased feedback and independent recommendations. Over two or three private sessions you will gain insight into your pattern of substance use, understand if your use meets the criteria for a substance use disorder, and hear about many of the ways that people and their families find recovery from drug and alcohol problems.
