Part Time Counselor

Thrive Mental Health Services seeks part-time counselor (30+ billable hours/month) to join small private practice offering in-home counseling services in Pierce county. Populations served include caregiver-supported Medicaid recipients with chronic health conditions. Thrive employs CBT methods and person-centered, skills-based approach. Counselors manage own caseloads, set own schedules, and provide own transportation; supervisor provides clinical supervision, referrals and billing. Candidates should be comfortable seeing clients in their homes, managing paperwork without close oversight, and working in Apple computing environment. Current Washington mental health counselor license and background check required. Pay: $55/hour plus $0.25/mile.
