Critical Care for the Clinician: a workshop and consult/support group

09/13/2024 11:37 AM | Anonymous

There is no better time for mental healthcare professionals to strengthen awareness and understanding of the impact of secondary trauma and develop strong and sustainable skills in self-care. This group is an opportunity to develop healthy professional and personal habits and practices early on in one’s career or to renew your commitment to self-care after years of clinical practice. Please join us as we learn these skills and navigate challenges together with the help of Laura van Dermoot Lipsky’s book "Trauma Stewardship." We will use the book to guide the structure of our group while also creating space to explore, share and process together how we apply and experience these skills in our daily lives and with our clients.

This is a 6 week workshop for mental health clinicians of all licensing levels and offers both CEU's and supervision hours as needed. Workshop will begin when spots are filled. Cost of 6 week workshop is $325 (plus $40 for CEU's)Workshop is in-person and located in an office in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle
